Acupunture and Chiropractic Care

Acupuncture provides pain control by the insertion of very thin flexible needles into specific predetermined points on the body to produce specific physiological responses. It also helps the body heal itself in conditions that are reversible. It is a very safe and effective treatment for a variety of problems. Acupuncture can be used along with the appropriate western medical therapy for the condition being treated. Additionally, it is an excellent enhancement therapy to use along with chiropractic care. All of the above problems can be caused by restricted or subluxated joints. Subluxated joints become irritated and swollen which leads to nerve irritation. Irritated nerves do not function properly and can lead to dysfunction of whatever body part they control. These subluxated joints can be fixed by applying a quick, low force hand-thrust in a specific plane of motion.
