Molly Rice, DVM

I was born in the Madison area. My family moved to Saudi Arabia when I was 5, and we spent the next 5 years traveling the globe before we returned to the Madison area. I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian ever since I was a young child. My love for animals—particularly horses—was something that I never outgrew. I attended UW Madison for undergrad and veterinary school. Following graduation, I completed an intensive year-long internship with Wisconsin Equine Clinic in Oconomowoc, WI. I joined Lodi Veterinary Hospital in February 2005, and have been here ever since! I enjoy all aspects of equine ambulatory practice, but have special interests in emergency medicine, dentistry, reproduction, and foal medicine.

My husband and I share our household with three cats and two dogs. Two horses complete the picture—one old, one young! I enjoy trail riding whenever I have the time, and also love to camp, fish, and hike.

Dr. Rice joined the LVH team as a doctor in 2005.
