Becky Burcalow, DVM

Dr. Becky Burcalow grew up in Elkhart Lake, WI as a horse crazy girl aspiring to become a veterinarian since she was 5 years old. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 on a Saturday and started practicing as an ambulatory equine vet in the Madison area the very next Monday! For the next 13 years Dr. Becky enjoyed all aspects of equine veterinary work, especially lameness, reproduction, and neonatal foal care.

She married her husband, Paul, in 2002 and now has two children (Clare age 6 and Cade age 3). Dr. Becky currently practices with Lodi Veterinary Hospital part-time during the busy spring months. She enjoys spending time on horseback with her family doing anything ranch related.

Dr. Burcalow started with the Madison Equine Clinic as a doctor in 1995, and joined the LVH team in the merger in 2008.
