Becky Burcalow, DVM

I am a Wisconsin native and started out in the horse world as a horse-crazy girl on a sassy pony in Sheboygan County 4-H. In 1995 I received my DVM from UW-Madison and have practiced with Madison Equine Clinic since that time. Although I enjoy many facets of equine practice, I especially like reproductive work, neonatal foals and lameness in the performance horse. My husband Paul and I enjoy using our horses for ranch work whenever possible as well as team roping. Currently I am taking a sabbatical from practice awaiting the birth of our second child. I have been busy raising our daughter Clare and managing our ever expanding herd of Quarter Horses, Corriente cattle and of course, sassy ponies on our Waunakee ranch. I plan to return to practice part-time in 2009 and look forward to seeing my old patients and clients as well as the new.

Dr. Burcalow started with the Madison Equine Clinic as a doctor in 1995, and joined the LVH team in the merger in 2008.
