K.C. Brooks, DVM ABVP
Growing up on a farm, Dr. Brooks had plenty of exposure to animals, but it was his relationship with his first dog that inspired him to become a veterinarian. He attended UW-Eau Claire before studying veterinary medicine at UW- Madison, graduating in 1988. That bond with his animals is still strong with his current animal family: two cats (Johnnie and Henrie), his spirited Labrador retriever (Liz), a springer spaniel (Brei) and a Second Chance adoptee, Lost (a golden retriever).
He and his wife Cindy, who teaches 6th grade in Lodi, have been married for over 25 years and enjoy life on a small farm. In his spare time, he likes to garden and spend time in his woodshop. During the season, you may even spot Dr. Brooks out on the road training for his next triathlon!
Dr. Brooks is very proud of the evolution he has seen in his years with Lodi Veterinary Hospital, which has become a full service facility where he can practice medicine in the way his clients and patients expect. He is constantly aware of and inspired by the human-animal bond that so many of his patients enjoy with their owners. He has spent his career most focused on orthopedic surgery and internal medicine, and is Board Certified in Canine and Feline practice.
Dr. Brooks is a member of the Lodi Methodist Church in addition to his professional affiliations with AVMA, WVMA, AAHA, and is an ABVP Diplomate since 1995.
Dr. Brooks joined the LVH team as a doctor in 1988.
