Lynda  Miller, DVM

I was born in Woodbury, MN. Most of my summer days were spent working on my friends dairy farm, near my family cabin in northern MN, getting the cows milked, babies fed, and hay up so we could spend the rest of our time with the horses!  I have always had a deep love of horses and because of those summer days, I also truly enjoy working with cattle.  I received my undergraduate degree at UW/River Falls.  I received my D.V.M. from the University of Florida in 2008.  I will be finishing up my Ph.D. in Equine Reproduction at the University of Kentucky - Gluck Equine Research Center this spring.  Although I am interested in reproduction in general, my research has centered on proteins on sperm heads and how they relate to fertility.  I am anxiously looking forward to beginning my career at Blue Mounds/ Lodi/ Madison Equine Clinic this spring!  I have a very spoiled dog and look forward to having a couple of horses and maybe a new puppy around once I get settled.  I enjoy trail riding as well as road biking, sewing, and gardening.  I look forward to meeting all of you very soon!
